We are looking for an experienced Datacenter Technician to support operations across a client datacenter environment in Amsterdam and internal warehouse activities. The role combines hands-on datacenter work with ownership of warehouse operations related to IT hardware.

Datacenter (Client Environment)

• Perform smart hands tasks for remote engineering teams

• Rack, stack, and decommission servers and networking equipment

• Install, label, and manage power and network cabling

• Replace hardware components and perform power cycling

• Follow datacenter security and safety procedures

• Document work in ticketing systems

Warehouse Operations

• Receive, inspect, and prepare hardware for deployment

• Manage inventory, labeling, and asset tracking

• Organize storage and handle shipments, returns, and RMAs

• Coordinate hardware availability with datacenter operations

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Datacenter Technician or Smart Hands Engineer

• Warehouse experience is required (IT hardware preferred)

• Experience in production datacenter environments

• Strong understanding of server hardware and cabling standards

• Comfortable with physical, hands-on operational work

• Ability to follow procedures and document tasks accurately
